Stella McCartney Ibiza pop up
For all your Falabella needs
For those not content with the Stella McCartney selection at Mayurka in Ibiza, head to Marina Botafoch for the brand’s first standalone store. The summer pop up is, as expected, sleek but sustainable – recycled spruce wood wool here, recyclable brass sculptural rails there – all carrying a curated selection of the designer’s women’s ready-to-wear and accessories.

La Belle Ibiza
Laid-back French fusion with balearic beats
The name may be French, but expect a relaxed menu blending its French roots with Asian and Spanish flavours. Located in San Rafael, you can dine on foie gras, crab and duck in the airy white stone-washed restaurant to a live soundtrack of Balearic beats. Cocktails here are a given, plus we’re told to keep our ears to the ground for live performances and events (’tis Ibiza after all).

New Italian in the Old Town
The Italian newcomer in Dalt Vila, La Dispensa, is moments from the main square – perfectly located to explore the Old Town. The intimate restaurant, spread over two floors in one of the castle’s enclaves, has been done up to create a cosy and warm space complete with industrial fittings, recycled wood and an eclectic mix of vintage furniture – plus waiters wearing leather toga aprons.

La Torre by Mambo
An old-school Ibicencan hostal with a hint of Mambo
Ibicencan stalwart Hostal La Torre in Cap Negret has been bought by The Mambo Group, their first hotel on the island. The hostal, we hear, will be kept “as is” for the time being, but a refurb is in the pipeline: 12 rooms, a new restaurant serving great cocktails and tapas with, of course, the sunset view and chill-out music. Expect total Ibiza vibes – the Mambo way.
